Chris Beetles Fine Photographs current exhibition of photographs by Steve McCurry

We are delighted to announce that, due to popular demand, we are EXTENDING our current exhibition of photographs by Steve McCurry until 15 October.

Since the show opened in early September, we have seen huge numbers of people flocking to our Swallow Street gallery to see Steve's photographs. Their exquisite colour, perfect composition and evocative atmosphere have inspired fans of photography and travel alike - their life-affirming vibrancy also provides something of an antidote to these increasingly gloomy economic times!

So, if you have been unable to visit the exhibition in the past few weeks, I very much hope that you will be able to take advantage of this extension and come along to see Steve's work.

The prints, including his iconic 'Afghan Girl', will continue to be for sale should you be interested in purchasing one. Everything remains viewable on our website, too: www.chrisbeetlesfinephotographs.com

I will also take this opportunity to tell you about our next exhibition, 'The Photographers 2011', which will be opening on 2 November. You may remember our inaugral 'Photographers' show last year, which was a big success and has now become an annual event. This year, we will be including 130 pictures by 57 photographers, from early 19th century pioneers of the medium, to the latest contemporary work, via Irving Penn, Richard Avedon, Cecil Beaton, and a whole host of 20th century greats.

As usual we will be publishing a sumptuous catalogue, which will be available from mid-October priced at £10. Do get in touch with me at the gallery if you would like to pre-order one.

We also have a fantastic schedule lined up beyond this, which I will be in touch about soon.

Very best wishes,
